EL4400/S - intercom terminal full duplex for TBP10

EL4400/S is a handsfree terminal, full duplex, for use in intercom systems, up to 10 channels, whose the principal apparatus is constituted by an TBP10 intercom.
The EL4400/S is normally installed in editing rooms for the communication with the TBP10 in control or comment room.
The EL4400/S are ideal to be used in ENG applications, in outside broadcast vans and television studios. 
The EL4400/S has a good quality of audio reproduction with amplifier and incorporated loudspeaker, low noise, thanks to balanced circuits through transformers and they are endowed with embedded power supply.

The apparatus has an elevated high fidelity of playback despite the limited height space in only 44 mm (1 RU).
The connection is realized with a 4 wires system to allow communications of high quality.
The link to the TBP10 happens through a couple of cables connected to the back connectors, 2 Cannon XLR with 3 contacts, male for the output and female for the input. On the frontal panel there are:

• command TALK for to activate the connection with the TBP10, that work or in momentary or in stable way (normally is used in momentary for avoiding to stop the other users with lower priority, as described in the TBP10 page)
• knob for regulation of listening volume
• incorporated microphone
• connector Cannon XLR with 4 contacts for an external headset with relative push button for activation and relative led
• led on
• loudspeaker for listening.

On the back panel there are:

• AC connector for 220 Vac
• female connector Cannon XLR with 3 contacts for the signal RTB In
• male connector Cannon XLR with 3 contacts for the signal TB OUT
